Student Design Competition
The Student Design Competition (SDC) is open to students from any discipline who have a creative and innovative design that will assist an individual with a disability to function more independently or accomplish a desired task. All graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to participate. Entries are judged on originality, quality of design, and usefulness to persons with disabilities.
The RESNA SDC has a long history of providing a forum for the work of energetic students representing a wide variety of disciplines including mechanical, electrical and biomedical engineering, computer information science and architecture. RESNA is the premier professional organization in the field of assistive and rehabilitation technology and its annual conference offers an excellent public forum for presenting research, design work, and clinical findings to service providers, researchers, educators, and consumers from the U.S. and the international community.
Paper submissions must be made through ScholarOne, a manuscript management software available online.
