RESNA MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES and Benefits:
Membership
is open to all interested persons and includes such professionals
as rehabilitation technology researchers, rehabilitation engineers,
occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech language
pathologists/audiologists, orthotists and prosthetists, educators,
suppliers and manufacturers, end-users and advocates, policy
specialists, and a variety of other rehabilitation and health
professionals.
For Individuals:
- Regular -
Any person with a demonstrated interest in assistive and
rehabilitative technology
- Student - Any
person pursuing a full-time course of study in fields associated
with assistive technology
- Consumer
- Any non-professional person who uses assistive technology
in daily living
- Senior - Anyone
who has been a RESNA member for five continuous years, age
70 or older, and who is no longer active in rehabilitation
and assistive technology
- Fellow - Member
of RESNA with national or international recognition in rehabilitation
and assistive technology - Conferred by Board of Directors
- Honorary Fellow
- Non-member of RESNA who has contributed to the accomplishments
of the objectives of RESNA or who has performed special
services for RESNA - Conferred by Board of Directors
