Click here for the RESNA Awards Call for Nominations, due April 22, 2013.
RESNA Awards recognize individuals and organizations for their efforts and contributions to the field of assistive technology and to the RESNA organization. These awards honor members of our large and diverse community of dedicated peers and professionals, committed to promoting the health and well-being of people with disabilities through the use of technology.
Nominations are accepted for RESNA members as well as non-members. Awards are presented at the Annual Conference by the Awards Committee.
Awards are offered in the areas of distinguished service, mentoring, leadership, and service to RESNA. In addition, induction into the Hall of Fellows honors those who have made long term and substantial contributions to the fields of rehabilitation or assistive technology, as well as significant contributions to RESNA.
The RESNA Awards Committee solicits, accepts, and considers the appropriateness of award nominations. The Committee relies on the RESNA membership to identify and submit nominations of organizations worthy of recognition. They review and judge the merit of these submissions. The recommendations are sent to the Board of Directors for approval.
Please see Nominations Criteria, Award Recipients, and the Hall of Fellows for more information and to be inspired.
The honorees are celebrated every year at the annual Awards Luncheon, held at the RESNA conference. The 2013 awards luncheon is Sunday, June 23, at RESNA 2013 in Bellevue, WA.
