RESNA does not specifically endorse any of these testing facilities, nor are these test laboratories or their test results certified in any way.

Wheelchair Transportation Testing

The laboratories listed below have the facilities and equipment for testing wheelchairs and wheelchair tiedown and restraint systems (WTORS) in accordance with the requirements and test methods specified in Sections 18 and 19 of Volume 4 of the RESNA Technical Standards, Wheelchairs and Transportation. The Biosciences Group at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI) also has the facilities for testing wheelchair seating systems in accordance with Section 20 of Volume 4.
