RESNA & the ADA Network Webinar-Challenging Work and Home Accommodations

This webinar will combine aspects of the ADA as it relates to accommodations and its interface with Assistive Technologies that benefit people with disabilities in home and work environments.  Presenters include:

  • Linda Vogelman Assistant Director of Independent Living Services at Society’s Assets has been with the agency for over twenty-three years. Linda is an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) through the Rehab Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America.  Linda has been co-chair of the Accommodations SIG for the past three years, as well as a member of the Communication Technologies and Computer Access SIG.
  • Cindi Pichler is the Senior Assistive Technology Specialist at Independence First.  She has held this position for twenty seven years and has received extensive training in a wide variety of Assistive Technology related topics, including funding issues, evaluation and selection, home and workplace modifications and specific devices.  She is also co-chair of the Accommodations Special Interest Group for RESNA.
  • Andrew Winnegar provides consultation for the Southwest ADA Center on employment, independent living, rehabilitation research, assistive technology, and vocational rehabilitation.
