Courses and educational offerings related to assistive technology can be provided in the areas of services and/or devices.
Assistive Technology Services (ATS) education and training is focused on the provision of AT services pertaining to a particular activity or participation domain. ATS training and education is not limited to specific manufacturers or products.
Assistive Technology Device (ATD) education and training is focused on the features, function and provision pertaining to a specific manufacturer’s products or a category of products.
