  An online information resource providing up-to-date, thorough information on assistive technologies, adaptive environments and community resources.
• National AT Advocacy Project
  This project primarily directs its nationwide support services to the network of Protection and Advocacy (P&A) and Client Assistance Program attorneys and advocates who are working on AT advocacy issues. We will also provide support services to Legal Services and Legal Aid programs and to attorneys in the private bar if they are working on AT-related issues.
• Assistive Technology Data Collection Project
  InfoUse, in collaboration with the Research Triangle Institute (RTI), is conducting an Assistive Technology Act Data Collection Project for the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR). The project is designing and implementing a web-based performance reporting system for the Assistive Technology Act state grants program. This system will meet the information needs of the Assistive Technology Act grantees, NIDRR, and Congress, and fulfill the requirements of the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 (GPRA).
• Alternative Financing Technical Assistance Project (AFTAP)
  The RESNA Alternative Financing Technical Assistance Project (AFTAP) provides technical assistance to State Assistive Technology Financial Loan Programs funded under Title III of the Assistive Technology Act of 1998 (P.L. 105-394). AFTAP is designed to enhance the efforts of the state alternative financing program (AFP) grantees and to assist states applying for AFP grants through a variety of mechanisms.
• Tech Connections
  Tech Connections is an information and dissemination project funded to assist Vocational Rehabilitation agency staff and others on applications of assistive technology (AT). The primary target audiences are vocational rehabilitation programs and agencies, rehabilitation training programs, schools, community rehabilitation programs and others that are interested in using technology resources and services.

AT Outcomes' Projects

• Consortium for Assistive Technology Outcomes Research (CATOR)
  This project will review existing approaches to assistive technology (AT) outcomes and other research on it, review existing barriers to AT outcomes research, factors contributing to AT discontinuation, develop platform data collection tools to assess AT outcomes, and develop web-based outcomes measurement systems, among several research agenda items. The CATOR project was funded in the fall of 2001 by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR).
• Assistive Technology Outcomes Measurement System (ATOMS)
  Based at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the project will review various intervention approaches to change the functional performance of individuals with disabilities, including assistive technology (AT) and a public school AT outcome pilot and collaborative activity with school districts in Ohio, Michigan, and Colorado. The ATOMS Project is funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) and began in October 2001.

• Abledata
  A national database of information on more than 17,000 products that are currently available for people with disabilities.
• AccessIT
  AccessIT, based at the University of Washington, helps educational institutions make information technology accessible to all students and education-based employees. AccessIT facilitates the implementation of policies, procedures, and practices that promote the procurement and use by educational entities of accessible information technology that applies universal design principles and meets recognized standards.
• Disability and Business Technical Assistance Centers (DBTACs)
  The centers act as a "one-stop" central, comprehensive resource on Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) issues in employment, public services, public accommodations, and communications. Each center works closely with local business, disability, governmental, rehabilitation, and other professional networks to provide ADA information and assistance, placing special emphasis on meeting the needs of small businesses. The DBTACs also provide technical assistance and training to states on IT accessibility as well as educational entities on their roles and responsibilities in providing accessible IT
• Information Technology Technical Assistance and Training Center (ITTATC)
  ITTATC promotes the development of accessible electronic and information technology by providing technical assistance, training and information.
• NARIC
  NARIC is a library and information center on disability and rehabilitation. More than 50,000 National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR)-funded, other federal agencies, and private disability-related publications are held and abstracted by NARIC in their REHABDATA database, searchable online.
