People with disabilities’ access to needed Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) continues to experience significant changes and challenges. To effectively address the growing number of issues, CRT stakeholders need to stay current and engaged on problem areas and solutions. This session will supply CRT updates on both the federal and state level and discuss effective advocacy actions. Topics will include Congressional activities, Medicare policy initiatives, state Medicaid matters, and advocacy strategies and tools. Attendees will leave with important information and resources to help protect access to this critical technology and related services.
