Abstract
Assistive Technologies are needed by an estimated 1 billion individuals worldwide and that number is expected to double by 2050. To address this need, the IMPACT Center has a multifaceted research and development approach to assist innovators in getting their Assistive Technologies to market. Successful Assistive Technology Tech Transfer (ATTT) also benefits from understanding the trends of TT success and the perceived barriers and facilitators. This interactive symposium will explore those trends and demonstrate how increasing TT knowledge can assist in overcoming the barriers associated with ATTT.
