Abstract
Training the next generation of Assistive Technology specialists is essential to the success of our field, and providing online education is an exacting process. This workshop will present strategies to deliver educational AT resources online, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of different techniques. Education of adults will be the main focus, and online education of traditional college-aged students will also be addressed. Examples from presenter’s experience will be used as case studies, including an annual professional Assistive Technology training course, and the initial steps of building a curriculum for an online master’s program in rehabilitation technology.
