The time when Electronic Aids to Daily Living (EADL) were limited to expensive Assistive Technology (AT) solutions are long past. The last 5 years have produced a wide array of economical and highly advanced home automation devices that can be used in the AT field. This workshop will demonstrate various setup and implementations of devices including Amazon, Google, Belkin, and Logitech home automation products (just to name a few). The aim of this workshop will be to demystify setup, usage, and adaptation of these consumer products for the Assistive Technology Consumer.
