RESNA is a standards developing organization accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Barriers to ICT for users with impairments can take various forms. Websites are often inaccessible for individuals with vision impairments, while smartphones are inaccessible for users with dexterity impairments. Since the speed of innovation in ICT is faster than that of assistive technology, the accessibility problems are growing exponentially. The pace of innovation, however, can also be harnessed to make ICT more accessible. The topics will include cloud-based Web accessibility metric, deep machine learning to make contents more readable for individuals with cognitive impairments, accessible mobile health, accessibility of Internet of Things (IoT)) and new trends in accessible ICT.
