Abstract: 
This symposium will engage a multidisciplinary audience on the topic of advancing technology and design in accessible public transportation. Researchers from a variety of professional backgrounds will share an overview of the findings in the current RERC on Accessible Public Transportation and discuss the potential impact of the findings in the accessible transportation industry. The symposium will cover mobile technology innovations, urban design solutions, vehicle design strategies and service improvements. The audience will participate in dynamic discussion about ongoing needs and areas for future research in inclusive transportation.
