Future opportunities for ICT contributions to improving the quality of life of PwDs can be found in the home and in the community while they are active going about their daily lives. This workshop will cover technologies for empowerment, where individuals accept the responsibility to manage their own conditions and are encouraged to use information to proactively manage their own health and their daily living. The topic of the workshop will include mHealth for self-management in PwD, integrating mHealth into clinical service delivery, and mobile & wearable technologies for daily living.
