RESNA is a standards developing organization accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Military service members demonstrating symptoms of Anxiety, Depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) are served by an interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team. Frequently, symptoms interfere with an individual’s ability to manage basic activities of daily living (ADLS). This session will review commonly demonstrated symptoms, how ADLs are affected by them, and examples of how assistive technology models were applied to meet the patient’s goals. The importance of keeping the entire team informed throughout the process will be emphasized through the discussion of a case study.
