RESNA MEMBERS! ARE YOU INTERESTED IN STARTING A NEW K-12 FOCUSED SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP?

About 6.5 million students in the United States receive services under the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA) and assistive technology must legally be “considered” for every one of these students. Although Canada does not have an equivalent national mandate, each province supports AT services for primary and secondary students in a variety of ways.

Are you interested in networking with other RESNA members who work in the K-12 setting or provide AT services to school-aged children? If so, sign your name to this petition to start a new Special Interest Group with a K-12 focus. This petition is sponsored by RESNA member Dan Cochrane, ATP.
