Student Scientific Papers

The RESNA 2018 Conference Student Scientific Paper Proposals are closed. Selected Conference Student Scientific Papers will be presented between July 13-15, 2018

We requested you submit your proposal(s) to the “Online Submission System,” you were asked to upload the following files (the total allowable size for each file is 5MB):

  • Your full paper including all tables, charts, and figures placed appropriately. Your Abstract cannot exceed 2000 characters (including spaces).
  • A blinded copy of the full paper. The blinded copy will be the full paper minus the names of all of the author names and affiliations, as well as any acknowledgement and references to your previous work. Ensure that all reviewing comments and "track changes" edits have been removed prior to saving the blinded version.
  • Alternative text for all non-text elements of your paper, and any photos included in your paper submitted separately.
  • Student authors will need to upload a Letter of Certification from a faculty member verifying that the first author was a student and carried out a majority of the work presented in the paper.

Following this, you were asked to answer questions for the submission. Upon completion, you should've seen see “Submission Successfully Saved.” This was the only confirmation message you would receive, as the system does not automatically send one. However, you were able to send yourself and your co-author(s) an email from the “Submission Successfully Saved” screen.

Please review the documents below and if you have any questions about your submission(s), please contact

To submit a Student Scientific Paper, download and review the following form(s):

The four (4) submissions with the highest rating will be awarded as Student Scientific Paper Winners. The winners will be the primary student author from each winning submission. A submission may have multiple authors, but all authors listed should have made a substantive contribution to the paper and only one student author (typically the first/submitting author) will be awarded winner and allowed to present. The student author must present the paper in person at the conference in order to be awarded Winner or Honorable Mention. This person will be invited to present their paper in a dedicated Platform Session. They will receive a free conference registration, three (3) nights accommodation at the conference hotel, and a one (1) year RESNA Student Membership. In addition, four (4) papers will be selected for Honorable Mention in the Poster Session and the presenting student will receive a free conference registration and a one (1) year RESNA Student Membership.
