In memory of Joey Wallace, Project Director of the RESNA Catalyst Project, RESNA has established the Joey Wallace Educational Scholarship Fund. This fund will provide grants to assistive technology professionals and students to participate in training and educational activities.
Joey was a passionate, committed mentor and educator of assistive technology professionals. He traveled the world providing training and tools for people working in the field on how to find funding, set up loan programs, and provide access to people with disabilities. As Project Director for the RESNA Catalyst Project, he worked closely with the federally-funded State Assistive Technology Programs (AT Act programs) and Alternative Financing Loan Programs (AFL).
