Academic programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels that specialize in or have a specific focus in rehabilitation engineering and/or assistive technology.

In addition, RESNA implemented a program accreditation to provide institutions the recognition needed to maintain standards required for its graduates to be deemed recipients of higher education or to achieve credentials for higher practice. The inaugural programs are:
