RESNA Standards Individual General Membership

The RESNA Assistive Technology Standards Board (ATSB) coordinates the development of voluntary consensus standards in the United States and represents the needs and views of U.S. stakeholders in international standardization forums. The ATSB has 10 committees who act as the consensus body for both international and national assistive technology standards. The ATSB committees mirror several ISO/TC 173 and ISO/TC 173/SC1 working groups however not all of them. RESNA now provides the opportunity that allows individual subject matter experts to participate in the standards development process and provide input on ISO standards that the ATSB currently doesn't have a committee for.

Note: RESNA currently only has P-Membership with ISO/TC 173 and ISO/TC 173/SC1. If your organization is interested in sponsoring and participating in standards development outside of ISO/TC 173 and ISO/TC 173/SC1, please contact technicalstandards@resna.org.
