Dear RESNA Community,

I hope this message finds you well. As the fall season begins and the air turns crisp, we’re feeling energized by what’s ahead and grateful for the continued support of our RESNA community!

The 2026 RESNA Conference is coming up, and we’re thrilled to be partnering with Abilities International this year! For the first time, we’ll host our annual conference in two separate locations:
• Long Beach, California on March 26 and 27
• Greater New York on April 30 and May 1

This new format gives attendees the flexibility to choose the location that works best for them, while still enjoying the rich content, innovative ideas, and meaningful professional connections that define the RESNA. We are currently accepting proposals for scientific papers, student scientific papers, student design challenge entries, and developer innovations. Each location has its own submission deadlines, which are listed here.

We hope you’ll consider submitting your work or encouraging your colleagues, students, or collaborators to get involved. This is a great opportunity to share ideas, learn from one another, and continue advancing the field of assistive technology together.

Of course, the RESNA community stays active all year long. Be sure to check out our Events Calendar for upcoming webinars, certification opportunities, standards discussions, and other ways to stay engaged.

Thank you for your continued commitment to RESNA! We can’t wait to see your work in 2026 and to share another year of innovation, collaboration, and progress with all of you.

Best regards,

Jim Lenker, PhD, OT/L, FAOTA, RESNA Fellow

President, RESNA
