Register for the final AT Fundamentals course of 2022! The AT Fundamentals Course helps candidates review and refresh their assistive technology knowledge and may help identify areas they need to study for the ATP exam, but it is not an ATP exam prep course. This course will be an online instructor-led course designed as a convenient, cost-efficient and effective way for busy AT professionals to participate. AT Fundamentals is four weeks long, with two, 2-hour sessions each week.

Instructors:

Theresa Berner, MOT, OTR/L, ATP and Heather M. Rushmore Koren, ATP

Theresa is an occupational therapist and Rehabilitation Clinical Manager at The Ohio State University Medical Center. She has over 29 years’ experience in Seating and Positioning and Adult Neuro Rehabilitation. Responsible for the Assistive Technology center and the Adaptive Sports Institute, Heather is also a clinical instructor at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at OSU.

Heather has been providing assistive technology services for over 20 years. She performs AT assessments for schools, customizes and conducts training, and presents at conferences on various assistive technology topics. Outside work, she keeps busy and enjoys reading, writing, hiking with her dogs, and spending time with her family and friends.

The registration fee includes a digital copy of "Fundamentals in Assistive Technology, 4th Edition". If you wish to purchase a print version of the supplemental textbook, you may do so for an additional charge via the store page.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@resna.org. Cancellations received by Tuesday, October 18, 2022 will received a 100% refund. Cancellations received after October 20th will received a 50% refund. Cancellations received after October 22nd will not be eligible for a refund.
