Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality (collectively referred to as eXtended Reality (XR) presents a wealth of new potential to improve accessibility through training/education and/or operational applications. However, there are also limitations to how XR can be applied. This session will be a discussion with audience members about current and potential uses of XR technologies. Focus will be on XR receptivity, defined as the task, human, and environmental factors that characterize the degree to which the application of XR is receptive to the technology design and capabilities.
