Barbara Crane PhD, PT, ATP is the coordinator of the Wheelchair Assessment Service at Gaylord Hospital in Connecticut. She has been a Physical Therapist for ten years and has worked in the rehabilitation field specializing in seating and wheeled mobility for much of that time. She earned a Master of Arts degree in 1994 in the field of Gerontology. She has lectured in and coordinated many local conferences focusing on Assistive Technology and its use with people with many different disabilities. She also has been an adjunct faculty member for several of the Physical Therapy programs in Connecticut and has lectured to students on assistive technology and wheelchair and seating evaluation.
