Speech and Language Pathology CoP

SLP CoP Mission

The SLP CoP mission is to build awareness of assistive technology for communication and cognition within the therapy and engineering professions, to foster relationships among practitioners and researchers, who wish to explore this exciting and growing rehabilitation field, and encourage new ideas to improve functional outcomes for individuals with communication and cognitive disability.

SLP PSG's Objectives

  • Provide a forum for the discussion of communication disabilities and supportive technology
  • Distribute information about communication disabilities and technology to RESNA members and other interested parties
  • Inform professionals in the field about concerns expressed by both people with communication disabilities and by developers of assistive technology devices

Connect

All of the Communities of Practice can connect as communities through our new, online community platform, RESNA Connect! Access RESNA Connect and join the SLP CoP community to take part in discussions, share resources, and collaborate with fellow community members.
